Lindentree Farm CSA, in its 20th year, certified organic, is located in Lincoln, MA, serving approximately 190 shares, the local Farmers Market and the” Field of Greens” for a food pantry in Cambridge. MA. A CSA farm is a relationship between a community of members and the farmer. You pay a fee up front and the farmer spends his time growing crops to feed you during the appropriate seasons. A practical, concrete answer to the question “what kind of massage do you practice?” is that in most sessions I use a style that combines all of the techniques that I’ve studied over the last 20 years. Deep tissue sports massage, gentle soothing relaxation work, trager rocking and traction and even bamboo facial massage all have a place within a thorough therapeutic massage. In truth, I practice “listening massage.” Not only do I take great care to listen to my client before and during their session, but I tune into the body as I work as well. I listen to the body by observing it’s reactions to my work always asking myself “where can the body let go more? Where is there still holding or guarding? How can I help the body feel lighter and more at ease?
